Jolly Tots, Rainow’s parent and baby/toddler group, is running 1.30—3pm every Thursday in term time at the Institute. Jane Mellings and Katherine Beswick are at the helm. It’s still £1 per parent and child, plus 50p for any extra children. This includes drinks and biscuits.

Bollington Library have asked us if we would create a Christmas display for the library. It will be on show for the month of December. To coincide with this we will be having a trip to Bollington library on Wednesday 3rd December. The children will have the opportunity to see their work on display and we will be having Christmas stories and making Christmas cards. All children (whether they attend on a Wednesday or not) are invited.

The Tempest Photos taken in October were lovely. We had 17 sittings and we do hope that you were all pleased with them. So far we have raised £90.

The recent Halloween Party raised a wonderful £200. Thank you to everyone for supporting this great event, especially to those who brought things for the raffle and buffet and all those that helped make it such a success. It was a lot of fun and the children really enjoyed themselves. The funds raised will be used to buy sets of waterproof all-in-ones so the children can enjoy outside play whatever the weather and also some ‘bilibo’ toys for active fun indoors and out.
