November/December 2008 News for the children

A busy run up to Christmas

Last half term our focus was on ‘enabling environments’ and the children thoroughly enjoyed using the outside area as much as possible with a large selection of resources. This half term our topic is ‘Numbers & Shapes’. We will be focusing on this theme and using it in our Bollington Library display.

Monkey Magic will be in session on Tuesday 11th November. Parents will have the opportunity to permit their children to star in their very own film ‘My Magic Adventure’. DVDs will be available for purchase at £16.60 with additional copies at £8.50. If you would like your child to be included but they don’t attend on this day, then please speak to Claire or Hilary.

Children in Need on Friday 14th November. If your child attends pre-school on a Friday, they are invited to dress up as a bear and make a contribution of £1 to the appeal.

Christmas Party Day on Tuesday 16th December. All children are invited for fun and games.

Christmas Concert Day on Friday 19th December (and this is the last day of term). Another raffle (with lots of great prizes) will take place as well. Details will follow closer to the time.
