Our Halloween Family Party (Saturday 1st November 5-7pm) and Gifts Galore Evening (Friday 21st November 8pm) are fast approaching. Both are well worth supporting and tickets are available from Leanne Halsey (574824). Get dressed up for Halloween and enjoy entertainment, spooky food and a bar, and shop 'til you drop at Gifts Galore. We've got some superb stalls booked for this years event spanning hand-made accessories and jewellery, craft kits and toys, home-made chocolates and preserves, plus 'green' kids clothes and greetings cards.

Pre-School has a busy social and fundraising calendar that includes Valentine and Halloween family parties, an Easter Bunny Hunt, a summer fell race, a stall at the Rainow Christmas Country Market, plus concerts in the Christmas and summer terms. We also organise a 'Mums and Staff' night out, most recently at The Robin Hood pub, at least once a year.

Events are always great fun, for adults and children, and well supported. Look out for details on noticeboards at Pre-School, and in the half-termly newsletters sent to all parents.

We are, of course, always looking for extra help when putting on these events, ranging from helping sell tickets or a stint on the bar rota to baking a cup-cake or three. Please look out for volunteer lists that go up on the noticeboards and sign up for a job if you can!
